Frequently Asked Questions For Truck Air Filter
Resolved Question: Do you gain better MPG with exhaust and a K&N air filter?
Just wondering if its true or a myth

Resolved Question: Toyota tacoma start then die after few second?
HI, my truck, 1996 toyota tacoma 2.4l 2wd, just got a problem. It have been running really rough, lost of power and bad MPG, when i start it up at morning it start good but when I accelerate a pop pop sound coming but idle seem fine, and when i shut it off and start it back up, it would crank but wouldn't turn over until i let it cool down, I have live with this symptom for month. Yesterday, I drive it to autozone, really rough driving I had to floor it to keep it moving.after turn it off and put new mass air flow sensor, bought from autozone, it won't start, but this time after I allow it to cool down it start and idle for few second then die, So, i ended up call the tow truck. I changed the old MAF but it won't help. It got good spark, fuel pump is good, pressure at 25 psi, new fuel filter. This morning, when I start it up and spray starting fluid it will stay running so it must be fuel problem, Any ideas is much appreciate, Thank you Thank you for the response right now it doesn't show any code, She already have 210000 miles, tough truck. I'm leaning to the ECU now because it seem to me i have good spark, good fuel delivery, and good sensor, MAF, coolant temp, throttle body sensor, o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. I have found no fuel coming out of the regulator and have no idea how come but I think may be the pressure could not build up to 54 psi to open the regulator diaphragm. I'm sure it getting fuel to the fuel trim, but after few second idle it just shut off like the fuel injector stop working. When I re install the distributor i have checked for timing, exact like the book show, so we can eliminate that, crankshaft position sensor have not check it but when i disconnect the connection it will not start so I assume it working. I don't think it have a vaccum leak because when i spray the starting fluid it stay running. Just one think I have concern when I bought my truck, she don't have the CAT I just did the full inspect intake air, look really snug and good no leak, I have also replace the spark plug tube seal, the old one fall apart. I take the regulator out and connect to the bicycle pump, when the psi past 57 the regulator open and release air, regulator hold good pressure. I also take the fuel gauge and connect to the inlet of regulator with adapter, it only read 18 psi, no more. When I take a screw driver and listen to the injector it does work when i spray ether, so we can eliminate, no power to the injector. Thank you ok, i just check the fuel pump, put the fuel gauge at the outlet of fuel pump give me 20 psi and can't get it go higher no mater how many time I energize it, do you think fuel pump must have a check valve or some kind to stop the back flow and allow pressure to go higher, if so, i would think need new fuel pump. finally i fixed it, bad fuel pump. the old one give me 20 psi at outlet, new 60 psi at outlet. She run like a champ now, thanks

Resolved Question: Aftermarket air intake questions?
I bought a K&N air intake system for my chevy blazer. Obviously it's a great brand and improves power and everything, which it does. But, I have an arguement about them. Ok, they have better flowing filters and less restrictive air tracks. Better flow, less pressure to pull, more power. It's all good. But, if your sucking in more air with less effort, there's got to be more fuel to make up for it, right? So your gaining power, but isn't your fuel economy going to go down? Ever since I put my system on mines dropped, for obvious reasons stated above. So in otherwords, you gain power but lose economy. I'm just curious if other people think the same way and can verify my thinking. Serious answers only. Thank you!

Resolved Question: How can I get more power I'm a v8 97 dodge Dakota?
Doesn't have much power for a v8
